WIZKID'S GUINESS WORLD RECORD

Drake and Wizkid's monster hit "One Dance" seems to be the gift that keeps on giving for both superstars.
It was the best performing song of 2016 on Apple Music and until Ed Sheeran's "Shape Of You" recently overtook it on Spotify, it was the streaming platforms most streamed song – landing it and its stars a place in the 2018 Guinness Book of World Records.

Went grocery shopping today and came across the new 2018 "Guinness World Records" book. Guess whose name was on one of d pages? Yes! Wizkid!
"One Dance", which was co-produced and co-written by Wizkid, is currently the 23rd best-selling digital single of all time, surpassing hits like Adele's "Hello", Bruno Mar's "Grenade" and John Legend's "All Of Me".
Since the release of "One Dance", both artistes have collaborated on one other single, Wizkid's "Come Closer"; a stellar track which, to no one's surprise, came out on top in our recent poll of the best Nigerian-international collaboration of 2017.

NIGERIAN pop star, Wizkid, has become the first Afro-pop artiste to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records. This is as a result of  his contribution to Canadian rapper, Drake’s smah hit, ‘One Dance’, which topped several charts worldwide. Wizkid Although the song is technically Drake‘s single, Wizkid has songwriting credits for the ‘One Dance’ which has the Guinness World Record as the most played song on Spotify with over one billion streams. The 2018 edition of the Guinness World Record named Wizkid in its most recent book.
